For some unknown reason, Meikka came into my thoughts today and I found this tribute to her. She was an extremely close friend to me for a very long period of my life. Time plays strange tricks, and we drifted away. It was one of those situations where you always mean to make contact but never have the time. It’s the natural way in life, and I cannot regret but just cherish the closeness we once had. Nikki, your writing was truly moving. I’m so glad to hear about your daughter too. And glad to see that Meikka was at peace. I had always meant to search you out too, to find out what had happened to Meikka, but never knew your surname…….love and condolences to all your family x.
